Overview

You may have several brands in Kayako (different front end that share the same backend) and want to know how to keep a user logged in when they go from one of your help centers to the other. 

Solution

It is currently not possible to automatically log into brand B when logging into brand A. Both brands have unique login sessions in the backend and these cannot be shared. Hence, the user will be required to log into brand2.kayako.com even though they are already logged into brand1.kayako.com.

The issue of users being logged out when switching between two different front ends of a Kayako setup that share the same backend is due to the design of the system. Each brand in Kayako has its own unique domain name and Help Center, and therefore, users need to sign in separately for each brand. This means that when a user logs into one brand and then switches to another, they will be logged out and will need to log in again.
