It is often needed to open the chat window using a link. For example, a hyperlink that says Have a question? for the customer to click and initiate a chat conversation.
It is not possible to open the Kayako Messenger. But instead, you can create engagement rules so that the chat window with a specific message will be opened automatically based on the criteria you configure.
For example, you can configure the chat window to open automatically after a visitor spends 15 seconds on a web page. Apart from this, you can also choose the custom message that should be displayed when the chat window is opened.
