When your Kayako License expires, you can still access your instance to view tickets and conversations within the grace period. Generally, the grace period is seven days. During this period, you can continue using your instance while renewing the license. Once the grace period is up, the instance is turned off.
Old legacy Kayako Classic (download) customers using an old license key format (perpetual licenses from 2013 and earlier) can continue using the application even with an expired license. You can access the Kayako instance, and the instance is still functional. However, it no longer receives updates from us.
If you are a Kayako Classic (download) customer who is on a subscription licensing model (latest model), you cannot access the instance once the license is expired. This also applies to both Kayako Classic OnDemand and Kayako (TNK) customers.
