You can use views to display any subset of conversations that meet the criteria you choose. This means that you can create a view to display specific conversations, such as the conversations only assigned to you or a particular team.
If an administrator with Manage views permissions restricts the visibility of a view to Just myself, it prevents everyone except users with the Owner role from accessing or modifying that view. As a result, you may receive the following error message when attempting to access the view:
Sorry, you don't have access to perform this action. Please ask for permissions from an admin.

To fix the issue described above, you need to modify the view sharing permissions. It's worth noting that if the admin user account that was used to create the view has been disabled, you will not be able to modify or even access the view with another admin account. You will either need to re-enable that admin user account so that you can modify the settings, or entirely recreate the view itself.

- The Inbox (system) view sharing permissions cannot be modified. It is always set to Every agent.
Sharing Permissions Modification Process
To modify the sharing permissions of an existing view:
Sign in to your Kayako and select Administration.
In the sidebar, click on Views under Conversations.
Here, you see a list of all of the views that have been created. Click the view you wish to modify.
In the Sharing section, select Every agent. You may also make the view available to a specific team only by choosing the team from the drop-down menu.
Click the Save button to save the changes.
