Overview
You get the Oops, something went wrong error when trying to permanently delete an agent profile.
Solution
In order to delete a user of Agent role and above, they must not be assigned to any conversations. If you are seeing the error and are not able to permanently delete the user account, it's likely that the user might be associated with some already closed conversations that cannot be reassigned to different agents.
Our development team has already identified this improvement as a Feature Request. However, in the meantime, you can use change the agent's role to Customer, and then you should be able to delete the profile.
To change the role of a user, open the agent profile, and update the role from the right side properties section:
- Go to your Admin area > Agent Directory.
- Open the user's profile.
- Click on Role select Customer and Update Properties to save changes.
- Drop down the user menu, and click Delete User to delete the user profile.
Testing
After changing the agent's role, you should be able to delete their profile.
